Dominion and Vision Series
“Kingdom Keys”
Greet People
I am going to get started quickly this morning as there is
a lot of ground to cover. First there are a couple of
things I want you to know. I often read one or two
passaged from a chapter to illustrate whatever point I
am making. Please believe that I am diligent in my
efforts to not take anything out of context. I am simply
trying to give the most info possible in a short amount
of time. I always encourage you to jot down the
passages and make notes, then go home and study them
for yourself.
I do not fear accountability.
Secondly, I love to have fun but my messages are
geared towards growth and strength and prayer. I am not
eloquent in speech and I don’t know many cute stories. I
don’t do cute when it comes to the Gospel.
The Gospel is the most powerful force known to man.
Power to change, heal, deliver and transform. It creates
a new heart in those of us who believe. WOW
With that said I want to share the 4 th in the series
Dominion and Vision titled, “Kingdom Keys”Page 2
Isaiah 22 records an interesting story of the transfer of
power in Jerusalem. Shebna was in control of the royal
household and God was not happy with his service. God
said this through the prophet.
Isaiah 22:19-23 NASB
19 “I will depose you from your office, And I will pull
you down from your station.
20 “Then it will come about in that day, That I will
summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
21 And I will clothe him with your tunic And tie your
sash securely about him. I will entrust him with your
authority, And he will become a father to the inhabitants
of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
22 “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his
shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he
shuts no one will open.
23 “I will drive him like a peg in a firm place,
And he will become a throne of glory to his father’s
house.
There is so much going on in theses passages but time
moves me on. It is important to understand what the key
of the house of David is. To do so we must go to 1
Chronicles.Page 3
God said this to David through Nathan the prophet.
1 Chronicles 17:11-14 NASB
11 When your days are fulfilled that you must go to be
with your fathers, that I will set up one of your
descendants after you, who will be of your sons; and I
will establish his kingdom.
12 He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his
throne forever.
13 I will be his father and he shall be My son; and I will
not take My loving kindness away from him, as I took it
from him who was before you.
14 But I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom
forever, and his throne shall be established forever.”
In the previous scriptures from Isaiah the word key is
translated from a Hebrew word which means, opening
instrument.
It is significant of someone with authority. If you have
the keys you have the power to open and close. The key
the prophet is referring to is the promise of God for a
Savior to come from the house of David.Page 4
Approximately 1065 years from 1 Chronicles 17, and
793 years from Isaiah 22, we read this passage from the
words of Jesus found in John’s Revelation.
Revelation 3:7 NASB
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David,
who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no
one opens, says this:
I must quickly share the fate of the other 6 churches.
Now listen to what Jesus said of the church at
Philadelphia.
Revelation 3:8-13 NASB
8 ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an
open door which no one can shut, because you have a
little power, and have kept My word, and have not
denied My name.
9 Behold, I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan,
who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will
make them come and bow down at your feet, and make
them know that I have loved you.
10 Because you have kept the word of My
perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of
testing, that hour which is about to come upon the
whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.Page 5
11 I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so
that no one will take your crown.
12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the
temple of My God, and he will not go out from it
anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God,
and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem,
which comes down out of heaven from My God, and
My new name.
13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says
to the churches.’
My sermon in the middle of my sermon. Philadelphia
literally means, brotherly love. It comes from 2 Greek
words. Phileo which means to love, and adelphos which
means brother.
Preach Favor for the church that loves, and tells the
story of Jesus and His perseverance.
In Matthew 16 we find the story titled, Peter’s
confession. It was the time Jesus asked who do men say
that I am. After throwing out a few names He then asked
who do you say that I am.
Peter responded this way.Page 6
Matthew 16:16-19 NASB
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son
of the living God.”
17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon
Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to
you, but My Father who is in heaven.
18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this
rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will
not overpower it.
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven;
and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound
in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have
been loosed in heaven.”
Preach I got all tore up over this.
The word translated keys means, power to open and
shut, it denotes power and authority. I love the word
heaven. It comes from the Greek word, oo-ran’-ee-os. It
means, in heaven, coming from heaven.
Preach Thy Kingdom Come.
I have to read verse 19 again from the Message.Page 7
Matthew 16:19 Message
“And that’s not all. You will have complete and free
access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every
door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth
and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on
earth is no in heaven.”
So what is the key? “You are the Christ, the Son of the
living God.”
Who He is and His perseverance are the keys of heaven.
Given to one of the founding fathers of the church and passed
down by the Holy Spirit to us today.
The Gospel is comprised of two things. The story of Jesus and
love for one another.
Those two things will break the heart of a sinner and lead
them to repentance. Those two things will join together a
house divided. Those two things will heal broken and
damaged people.
The story of Jesus and love will change the world. It has done
it before and it will do it again.

Dominion and Vision
“Your Kingdom Come”
Greet People
Today is the 3 rd part of the series titled Dominion and
Vision. I only pray that I can do it justice because every
aspect of it will change your life. You may hear some
topics I have covered before but I believe if possible I
can unfold them and break new ground beginning today.
I want to quickly get with my thoughts titled, “Your
Kingdom Come”
Matthew 6:9-13 NASB
9 “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as
it is in heaven.
11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread.
12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven
our debtors.
13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and
the glory forever. Amen.’]Page 2
I am not going to spend a lot of time on this prayer but it
is something you need to commit to praying every day.
That will create within the house a spirit of agreement.
The more of us that pray this prayer the stronger the
influence it will have in us corporately. There by
increasing our individual faith in the promises of God
because of a unified purpose.
For the purposes of this series unless I otherwise note.
Kingdom comes from the Greek word bas-il-l’ah and it
means, “royal power, kingship, dominion, rule. of the
royal power of Jesus as the triumphant Messiah. of
the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in
the Messiah’s kingdom”
The word is used 119 times in the Gospels alone. 54 in
Matthew and 44 in Luke. Both of which record the
Lord’s prayer.
Over the last couple of years I have looked to this
prayer and it’s relevance to the church. Even more so the
last few weeks. All my life I have prayed it but never
with the expectation of His kingdom that I have now.
To me it was a prayer that honored God, taught us to
rely on Him and recognized that everything was His.
It is so much more and you will find it out when you
pray each day with faith that God will reveal its power.Page 3
Luke 12:28-32 NASB
28 But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is
alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace,
how much more will He clothe you? You men of little
faith!
(faith comes from a Greek word which means, trusting too little, and a root
word which means, little or small, of degree or intensity.)
29 And do not seek what you will eat and what you will
drink, and do not keep worrying.
(worrying from the Greek means, to cause one to waver or fluctuate in the
mind , to agitate or harass with cares, and to make anxious.)
30 For all these things the nations of the world eagerly
seek; but your Father knows that you need these things.
31 But seek His kingdom, and these things will be
added to you.
32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has
chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.
(the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the Messiah’s
kingdom)
Preach the Cross
Christ with these passages is trying to get His listeners,
and us, to change our thinking. Humans tend to focus
more on what they can’t do, than what He can do in us
and for us. We look at the storms, the circumstances and
ignore our Kingdom authority that the Father has given
us through the work of Christ on the cross.Page 4
Preach restoration. Freedom from The Evil One and
from our past.
Most of us here have repented. Some, like me have to
repent every day. Remember that true repentance is to
change our way of thinking.
Colossians 3:1-2 NASB
3 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep
seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the
right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things
that are on earth.
I love the way the Message Bible says this.
Colossians 3:1-2 Message
So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection
life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which
Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground,
absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up,
and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s
where the action is. See things from his perspective.
PreachPage 5
Verse 2 says set your mind. The Greek word translated
mind means, to have understanding. It is used in a way
to call for agreement. Agreement with God and
directing our minds toward Him.
Preach (to bring into agreement-Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven)
Ephesians 3:20-21 NASB
20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly
beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power
that works within us,
21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
This passage also comes alive in the Message
Ephesians 3:20-21 Message
God can do anything, you know—far more than you
could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest
dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by
working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within
us.
Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!Page 6
In verse 20 the word think comes from a Greek word
which means, to perceive with the mind, to understand,
to have understanding, to think upon, heed, ponder,
consider.
In the MRV it means His ability is greater than mine.
The dreams He plants in me are bigger than I could
have ever dreamed. The understanding that comes to us
through the Holy Spirit is greater than our natural minds
can comprehend.
Preach (to bring into agreement-Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven)

Dominion and Vision Series-2
“Grace upon Grace”
Greet People
I want to begin today with some thoughts from last
week. Thoughts that I said I would be mentioning each
week as we progress through this series titled,
Dominion and Vision.
I pray that some or all of these points and affirmations
will stick to your spirit and become your purpose to
achieve.
It is time for a revelation in our vision. Vision is made
up of identity and purpose. When we have a revelation
of our identity we can begin to think with Divine
purpose.
People are more concerned with their unworthiness than
His worth. Our inability takes on greater focus than His
ability.
Finally please remember that true repentance is to
change our way of thinking.Page 2
I want to share some thoughts titled, “Grace upon
Grace”
Last week I shared my heart on restoring your identity
in Christ. It is imperative that we continue to grow in
our relationship with God. There are people that believe
that you get all there is to get when you are saved. In
truth Jesus doesn’t come piece meal, but understanding
does. It is a process that takes a lifetime to complete. A
constant series of good times and bad that create
character, dreams, vision, and purpose. And the faith to
see them come to pass.
It is like receiving a gift that requires assembly. You
have the gift. You can’t get more of the gift. You have it
all, but it is not functional.
You have to open it, find the instructions, and begin the
process of putting it together. If it is a complicated
project you may have to do some parts of it over. It is
just like life and our relationship with Christ.
Let me begin with this passage.
Colossians 1:16 NASB
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens
and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been
created through Him and for Him.Page 3
Last week I defined your enemy. Today I want to make
clear to us all the amazing gift of God to His creation.
Jesus, The Christ.
My favorite passage that unfolds the amazing gift of
God is found in the Gospel of John.
John 1:1-5 NASB
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through Him, and apart
from Him nothing came into being that has come into
being.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did
not comprehend it.
Verses 1-3 are very clear. They speak of Jesus and His
eternal divinity. Always was, always will be and
everything points to Him.
Verses 4 and 5 need some attention. I will do my best to
share the heart of God with these two verses. I want to
read them again.Page 4
John 1:4-5 NASB
4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did
not comprehend it.
The Greek word life is the word Zoe. If you remember it
means, the absolute fulness of life. The true meaning of
this passage comes from the root word that Zoe came
from. That word is, “psoo-khay’” and it means the
breath of life, the vital force that animates the body. The
living soul which is the seat of feelings, desires,
affections, and aversions.
This life became the Light of men. Light is translated
from the Greek word, phos, and it literally means
brightness of a lamp. Metaphorically it means the
brilliant quality of truth and knowledge. The truth of
who He is and what He has done.
It comes from two root words. One means to become
evident and the other means to make known one’s
thoughts.
Let me read the verse again.Page 5
In Him is the breath of life. The living soul. The vital
force that makes us alive. It became our truth and
knowledge. It is evident in our lives and by it He
transfers His thoughts to us.
That light that discloses truth shines in the darkness and
the darkness did not comprehend. Darkness is
emblematic of sin but it literally means from the Greek,
obscurity and dimness. “The word obscurity today
means the state of being unknown or unimportant.”
The word comprehend means possess. Preach
I have to stop hear and say something. It is the core of
understanding our identity in Christ. What He has truly
done for us.
You will never serve Him and fulfill your destiny from
fear.
Preach Preach Preach-when you understand that in
your present condition. Give examples.
He Loves You
Something happens inside that will change the way you
think when you know He loves you.Page 6
I have to hurry so please read John 1 when you can. I
am going to skip some verses so I can share this one as I
close.
John 1:16 NASB
For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon
grace.
Amplified
For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received
[all had a share and we were all supplied with] one
grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual
blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped]
upon gift.
Good news
Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all,
giving us one blessing after another.
Preach Preach Preach
The word fulness means, “that which is filled. Filled
with presence, power, and riches of God.”
“Grace that affords joy, pleasure, delight, and
increase.”
Preach Preach Preach Jesus

Dominion and Vision Series
“The Evil One”
Greet People
I have been completely consumed with the presence of
God and His desire to make us more than we have
dreamed. There are so many passages that declare our
potential in the kingdom of God. The complete
restoration that takes place when we repent and follow
Christ.
There are several statements that I will repeat each week
as this series progresses. These affirmations will
hopefully have a positive effect when you begin to
absorb them into your relationship with Christ.
True repentance is not only acknowledging Christ as the
Messiah, turning from your unfruitful path of
destruction, and following Him. True repentance is to
change the way we think.Page 2
In Ephesians 3 Paul is talking of his calling and
faithfulness. As well as His prayers for the church at
Ephesus.
Ephesians 3:20 NASB
20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly
beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power
that works within us.
It is time for the church, and even in this church to have
a revelation in our vision.
Vision is made up of identity and purpose. When we
have a revelation of who we are in Christ, our identity.
We can think with divine purpose.
Many people in the church are more convinced of
their unworthiness than they are of His worth.
Our inability has taken on greater focus than His
ability.
As I sought direction on where to begin I felt this in my
heart. We must begin this journey by understanding our
enemy.Page 3
Matthew 6 records one version of what we call the
Lord’s prayer. Luke also records a version. I want to
read one passage from Matthew as we begin this series
with thoughts titled, The Evil One
Matthew 6:13 NASB
‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the
glory forever. Amen.’]
Evil is translated from the Greek word, “pon-ay-ros’”
and it means, causing pain and bad trouble. In this
passage it was used as a noun and likely read in the
Greek, the evil and was referring to Satan. Pon-ay-ros’
comes from a root word, pon’-os, which means, great
trouble, and pain.
Satan from the Hebrew means, adversary, one who
withstands. From the Greek it means, adversary, one
who opposes another in purpose or act.
There are many weapons he uses against us, but there is
a singular purpose. His purpose is to steal our identity in
Christ, and our Divine purpose in His kingdom.Page 4
Preach, deceptions-distractions-delays-
disappointments-discouragement.
All of these and more are tools of the evil one to cause
you to see your unworthiness instead of His worth. Your
inability instead of His ability.
Let’s see what Jesus has to say about your identity and
purpose. In John 10 Jesus was establishing His role as
shepherd and His intentions for us as His flock. He also
gave warning against those who would try to turn you
away from Him.
John 10:7-10 NASB
7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you,
I am the door of the sheep.
8 All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but
the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be
saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I
came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
This word thief means embezzler, or pilferer and is not
referring exclusively to Satan. It is referring to anyone
who would lead you from Christ and His Finished work.Page 5
The thief embezzler, will steal, take away, your
identity, kill, or sacrifice your purpose and destroy, to
abolish and render useless your identity and purpose
in Christ.
Preach- Can’t nobody steal something you ain’t got.
The rest of verse 10 says this. “I came that they may
have life, and have it abundantly.”
The word life is translated from the Greek word zoe. It
means, “the absolute fullness of life.”
The word abundantly comes from the Greek word, per-
is-soce’ and it means “beyond measure, extraordinary,
greatly, and exceedingly.”
The root word is, per-is-sos’ and it means, over and
above, more than is necessary, superior, extraordinary,
surpassing, uncommon.
Do you understand why the evil one is desperately
trying to confuse and disrupt the body of Christ.
Individually and corporately the church is attacked on a
regular basis. Deceptions-distractions-delays-
disappointments-discouragement.Page 6
Preach-the power of the cross
Let me try to close.
In Numbers 21you will read the story of the bronze
serpent. The people spoke against God and Moses so the
Lord sent fiery serpents into the camp. They bit many
and many died from the bites. The people cried to God
and repented. They asked Moses to intercede which he
did. God responded this way.
Numbers 21:8-9 NASB
8 Then the L ORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent,
and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that
everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will
live.”
9 And Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the
standard; and it came about, that if a serpent bit any
man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.
If you fast forward approximately 1434 years you will
find these words of Christ taken from John 3. The
chapter where Christ is teaching on the new birth.
Explaining to Nicodemus being born again.Page 7
John 3:14-15 NASB
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal
life.
If you remember from Genesis Satan as a serpent
robbed Adam and Eve of their identity and their
purpose.
When the people looked at the bronze serpent they were
healed.
I remember an old saying used to describe someone
with bad luck or no real purpose in life. Folks didn’t like
being around them. People would call them, snake bit.
When you look to Jesus you will be restored. Your
vision, your identity and purpose.
Jesus took on Him the curse caused by the deception of
the serpent.
You can stop focusing on your inability, and focus on
His ability.
Preach-It is time to look on Jesus.
